At the age of 33, as a stay at home mom with a very busy 2.5 year old, I began a journey that would forever change my life. I started my Mary Kay business. Originally, I decided to start to have extra money, enough to pay for a cleaning lady once a week. To my delight, my dream came true in my first week of business. After that, I decided that I also wanted extra money to pay for family vacations. After only 7 months of working my Mary Kay business part time, Tony and I went on our first of many Mary Kay paid vacations. This one to the Carribean. I earned my first of 14 free cars a year after starting my MK business, I couldn’t believe it. It seemed too good to be and became my new reality. I decided to promote myself to director 6 months later and found fulfillment making a difference in the lives of those I led.
What surprised me is all the unexpected gifts I found along my journey in Mary Kay like lifelong friendships, increased confidence, passion and fulfillment in my work, unlimited earning potential, freedom to integrate my faith into my business while putting my family obligations before my work, the ability to promote myself at my own pace, and achieve things I never thought possible.
My passion is to pass these gifts I’ve received and experienced in my Mary Kay journey onto others. Knowing I have 4 years to pass this opportunity on to as many people as I possibly can before I retire, I feel a real sense of urgency.
My hope is that you will take advantage of every wonderful thing Mary Kay has to offer. It’s all yours if you want it and you are willing to learn, grow, and stretch yourself along the way. You can truly have it all!
